Waitlist API: endpoint documentation for accessing waitlists and waitlist leaderboards. (No authentication required.)
Authenticated API: endpoint documentation for creating and using authentication tokens, and using those to access the full metadata of signups, and offboarding them from a waitlist.
Schemas: model documentation to show the structure of every object that the Waitlist REST API returns.
Custom Email Domain: instructions on how to set a custom email domain for your Waitlist, such that the Waitlist emails appear sent from your domain, rather than from the @getwaitlist.com domain.
Email Rules: you can configure your Waitlist such that only users with particular email addresses can sign up, and you can disable free/personal email providers like gmail.
Hide Counts: you can hide the number of signups, and the priority of any given signed-up user in queue. This is useful if you just want to build a mailing list without telling people how many other users have signed up.
Leaderboard: when a user finishes signing up, you can choose to show them a leaderboard of the highest-priority users in line.
Slack: you can integrate your waitlist with Slack, such that every time a user either signs to your waitlist, a message containing that user's metadata is posted in a Slack channel of your choice.
Questions & Answers: beyond your Waitlist form asking for the user's name, email, and phone number, you can configure any number of additional custom questions for your waitlist form. Those can be free-text answers or dropdown-selects from a preconfigured set of options.
Zapier: you can use Zapier to connect Waitlist with over 6,000 other apps, like Mailchimp, Omnisend, Airtable, Notion, and many more. Waitlist will trigger a Zapier event every time that a user signs up, or is offboarded from the list.
Widget Embed Options: there are a few additional options for your embeddable Waitlist Form that you can set when you embed the waitlist form itself in a website (as opposed to setting it via the settings in your dashboard).
Verify Users: you can turn on email verification for waitlist signups, so that a new user will only be "signed up" and assigned a priority once they verify their email by clicking a link.
Webhooks: similar to the Zapier and Slack integrations, you can enable Webhooks for your waitlist, such that on every new user signup event, or every time a user is offboarded, a POST request is made to an HTTP endpoint of your choice. The request will include all the user's metadata.
Organization Administration: Waitlist supports team management. This section tells you all about how to invite other people to your team such that you can administrate your waitlists together.
